I’ve just been reading this article and thought I’d share with you all.
An excellent idea that lets us all have free and open access to the UK postcode database, that we create. This will enable smaller businesses and non profit organisations to use a really valuable resource to provide better services to us all. You could think of it as wiki for postcodes, as normal people can help build up this database. Anyone with an iphone can already help buy downloading iFreePostcodes and geo tagging the postcodes they know in their area. I really hope to see someone port this to the G1 and other platforms soon.
