Due to a recent change on the Amazon AWS page I’ve updated the getAWSdocs.sh script. You can download it from:

http://media.squarecows.com/code/getAWSdocs.sh

For instructions on use please see:

You can now download the source for bindtoroute53.py on github. Its released under the GPL so feel free to modify and/or suggest patches.

One thing that strikes me as odd with Amazon and the documentation on AWS is that there is no download all button, to make it easy to get all the documentation in one go. So I’ve created a bash script to make it easier. You can download it here:

http://media.squarecows.com/code/getAWSdocs.sh

If you run it with the -r command it will refresh all the documents that have been previously downloaded. Very handy if you want all the PDF’s. You could even squirt them into calibre and have them on your kindle.

./getAWSdocs.sh -r

I hope some of you find this useful.
